About Us
Who We Are
Nizar Foundation is a humanitarian nonprofit focused on creating long-term change through clean water access, health education, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
Our work is centered on improving everyday life in practical and lasting ways through community initiatives, infrastructure projects, education, and support systems designed to continue making an impact long after they begin.
We believe access to clean water, health awareness, opportunity, and safe living conditions should never depend on where someone was born or the circumstances they grew up in.
At the heart of the foundation is a simple belief:
The real impact should last.
Not for a moment.
Not for visibility.
But in ways people can continue to feel in their daily lives over time.
Our Mission
Our Story
Nizar Foundation did not begin with a business plan or a campaign.
It began years earlier with small acts of service that quietly became part of founder Kudra Mohammed’s life.
At fifteen, she began visiting hospitals, not as part of an organization, but simply as a young girl who felt deeply for patients who seemed forgotten or alone. Those moments shaped the way she understood care, dignity, and the importance of showing up for people in difficult moments.
Over time, those experiences grew into community-centered initiatives rooted in encouragement, support, and access.
She later started Touch a Heart, a personal initiative focused on visiting patients and supporting families through small but meaningful acts of care and presence.
As the work continued to grow, she founded YTO Kenya, a youth platform centered on encouragement, self-belief, gratitude, and helping young people build confidence and direction in their lives.
What connected all of these efforts was never recognition or attention. It was the belief that even small acts of consistency can change the direction of someone’s life.
Over the years, that belief evolved into a larger vision—one focused on building practical systems that improve daily life in lasting ways.
That vision eventually became Nizar Foundation.
Our Founder
Kudra Mohammed is an entrepreneur and Global Brand Strategist with over a decade of experience building brands, platforms, and communities across three continents.
Alongside her work in business and brand development, she has spent years leading humanitarian and community-centered initiatives focused on clean water access, health education, youth empowerment, and long-term social impact.
Her approach to humanitarian work is shaped by long-term thinking and a belief that meaningful impact is not measured only by what is launched, but by what continues serving people over time.
As she says:
“We build for what lasts, not what is fast.”
“A project is not successful because it is delivered; it is successful because it is sustained.”
“Impact is not what is built—it is what continues to function after we leave.”Kudra Mohammed Tweet
What We Stand For
Clean Water Access
We support clean water infrastructure projects, including boreholes and community water systems, in areas where access to safe water remains limited.
Clean water changes more than health. It changes safety, opportunity, time, and everyday quality of life.
Health Education
We support health education and awareness initiatives that help communities better understand prevention, early care, and overall well-being.
This includes cancer awareness programs, community outreach initiatives, and health education efforts designed to make important information more accessible.
Youth Empowerment
We support young people through mentorship, encouragement, skills development, and opportunities that help them build confidence, direction, and independence.
We believe potential is everywhere, but access is not always equal.
Environmental Sustainability
We support environmental sustainability through education, awareness, and initiatives focused on protecting the resources communities depend on every day.
We believe caring for communities also means caring for the environments that sustain them.
Our Approach
Nizar Foundation focuses on practical, community-centered solutions designed to create lasting impact.
We believe meaningful humanitarian work begins with listening, understanding what communities truly need, and building solutions that can continue serving people over time.
Our work is rooted in consistency, responsibility, and long-term thinking—not short-term visibility.
We do not believe impact ends when a project is completed.
We believe the most meaningful work is the kind that continues quietly improving lives long after implementation.
Closing Statement
Nizar Foundation exists to support communities through clean water access, health education, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability initiatives that improve everyday life in real and lasting ways.
What began with simply showing up for people became a long-term commitment to building systems, opportunities, and support that endure.
And that work continues.
